NEW - TRAIL PRACTICE PATTERNS AND JUMP COURSES HorseNPony.net is pleased to be offering more horse show practice patterns online. New practice patterns for Walk Trot Trail riders are available now. Click PATTERNS on the link bar. Practice patterns include setup notes and dimensions which specify recommended distances between markers and obstacles. A new Featured Pattern will be posted each week during summer, increasing the difficulty as we go.
More horse show practice patterns and courses for trail, western horsemanship, showmanship at halter, English equitation, and jumping will be posted soon. Check back often to download the latest FREE, or send us your own favorite pattern to post by clicking CONTACT US on the link bar and typing the pattern instructions into the email message box.

OPEN HORSE SHOW TO BENEFIT EQUINE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM AT TCTC The Trumbull Career & Technical Center Equine Managment classes will hold their annual open and 4H horse show season on Sunday, May 3rd, at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds. Proceeds will benefit the Equine Management educational program. The show features added money classes, jumping, western and English walk trot and open classes, and contesting. Classes begin at 9 AM. |

GEAUGA 4H HORSE COMMITTEE ESTABLISHES EDUCATION FUND With the passing of Dr. Richard Novak, the horse community lost not only a fine veterinarian but also a champion of youth and their horses. For this reason the Dr. R. A. Novak Perpetual Fund has been established with the Geauga 4H Horse Committee. This non-profit group will use the fund to assist riders as they further their education through clinics and showing opportunities.

DONATION OR CONSIGNMENT OF ITEMS FOR BENEFIT AUCTION NEEDED The Freedom Trails Riding Center of Tiffin, Ohio, is requesting donation or consignment of suitable items for a Benefit Auction to be held in support of their special needs therapeutic horseback riding program on Sunday, March 30th, 2008, beginning at 1:00 PM at the Seneca County School of Opportunity Gymnasium in Tiffin.
